Hi AdoptAmiga...I hope you are still keeping an eye on this thread. My wife & I are looking into adoption from Chile. I was wondering if you have heard anymore regarding your attempts to adopt from there. I have read the state departments information on it but have not contacted the Chilean department. Have you by chance encountered any information on Americans of Chilean descent and whether that makes a difference at all? My father is from Chile and we still have a lot of family down there. I have just contacted some of them to do some of the footwork, information gathering too. Well, thank you in advance for any information. I hope you are successful in your adoption.
