I am an adoptee who has found her birth mom through Marylands CI program.......was very pleased with this service. If you haven't already...please go and put your name on the registry with maryland (and of course register with the ISRR largest free registry). There is a small fee to be added to the Maryland Register...it is worth it. My birth mother was not on it so I chose to be appointed a CI (Confidential Intermediary) through the state of Maryland. They found my birth mom in 3 weeks....of course it costs a fee...well worth it to me. I do not know if they search for adoptees but it would be worth calling them and finding out...they are wonderful people.
