We have are adopting a littel boy, all should be final by march. We are in OR and are adopting from DHS. In the mean-time we have learned that his baby brother is in foster care in WA. We are interested in adopting baby brother as well. Is anybody familiar with adoption laws in WA in regards to DHS? Do they give preference to family and would we be considered family (I know that we would be in OR)? If so would this differ for us as we are out of state? Any info is greatly appreciated.
