You need to find out from your worker/agency if they work with interstate adoptions. It also depends on who "owns" your homestudy profile. Im in PA, and for us to do an interstate adoption we have to pay the $1500 for the profile, but if it is within state adoption we don't have to pay anything for it.

Each state, county, agency, worker is different. You need to specifically ask yours, because some places will only look out of state after a certain amount of time instate. Im sure someone else here on the board can provide an answer more specific to GA.
