Where you find the children can change day to day. San Antonio may seem to have younger children at this moment, but tomorrow it maybe El Paso or Edinburg.

Since you went with a private agency, where you're allowed to find children is governed by them. I know that our agency will help find children anywhere in the state or even nation, but not all agencies are like that. Probably you'll get your best answer by asking them.

About the age that you want. You might get lucky and find one right away that is in that age group with challenges that your family can handle. And then again, you might be in for a long wait. Being open to some challenges, or a sibling group might help the wait. Foster-to-adopting that age could be a bit more risky, but you just never know.

Welcome to the process and the board.
