I've been thinking of them and praying for the too.
Yes, votemom, they were in our region. They only live a short distance from me, but I actually met them around the world.
Forum friends, know this.....you never know how the smallest thing you do may affect another person.
While we were on trip 1 (the unsuccessful trip most of you know about), we were experiencing one of the worst, most heartwrenching experiences of our lives. There was no time to eat that day and through all of the emotional turmoil, no appetite to eat either. In the middle of that horrible night my husband and I both all of the sudden found ourselves starving! The cheese that D and his wife left for us rather than conveniently throwing out was still in the refrigirator. While we sat up the rest of the night trying to decide our Russian adoption fate, we remembered the cheese, what a blessing! As crazy at is sounds, through all the heartache and turmoil, some how I/we found comfort in that cheese!

Last step in the process--wait for LOI
March 15 07--received LOI
Left for Kaz March 21
Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court)
