Is it possible to adopt from another state?

Hubby and I have tried the state system in our own state four years ago. It is a night mare. Latest stats say kids languish in foster care for 3 1/2 years, and many longer.

They also require the couple to drive over 100 miles one way for a three hour class on work evenings, once a weekfor two months.

With our work scheules, we would have to leave work a few hours early, and be a few hours late the next day for two months, which is kinda not a good way to keep ajob to support ourselves, much less a child.

We have found one potential agency that we can qualify for, but not sure based on the costs.


Any Suggestions?
