A while back, someone on this forum posted a really good response.

When someone goes on and on about "Why are you adopting internationally when there are so many kids here in AMERICA who need homes?

Simply smile and say, "I think it's wonderful that you are so worried about the children. How far along are YOU in the adoption process so that you can save them??

Catty? Yes. But if they feel they have the right to jump into your personal business and flaunt their prejudices, then they deserve it.
