I post very little, but browse the forum daily to see how everyone is doing.

DD turned 1 on Wed, Nov 29th and we had her party with family and friends was yesterday, Dec 2. She has been home since May 11, 6 1/2 months already. She has grown into such a beautuiful little girl, and is months away from walking. She didn't start crawling until 10 1/2 months. My whole family can not believe what an easy going mild natured girl she is, always laughing, giggling and smiling. She babbles up a storm, sings and bounces to all kinds of music. She has 8+ teeth, has grown over 4 inches and gained about 4 lbs since she has been home. She completely boycotted all baby food at 10 months. Her b-day cake was the face of her kitty Smurph, which you can see from the 2 cat pix that this cat is her favorite buddy. They actually play together and are always within sight from each other. It has been neat to see that relationship develop. We are still working on the sippy cup idea, but we'll get there.

To everyone waiting for their children, I pray for speedy processes, but if that isn't the case for some then I pray for peace in midst of the emotional storm of waiting for them to come home. Enjoy the pix, they always helped me while I was waiting.
