I strongly think it's something that should be 100% agreed on with both parents... and I think it's something that should have been talked about before getting married.

I don't know your reasons for not wanting biological children, but keep in mind that you are probably in a minority. Personally, I'm quite sure that the only thing that made dh change his mind about adoption was the fact that we struggled so much with infertility and it made us miserable... I still had to cycle one more time to make him at peace with his decision.

So no, I don't think it's fair to force someone to adopt if they are not 100% on board. Besides, if you search adoption more (especially the price of it), I think it's another reason not to force someone to do it...

Just IMO.
