Walmart has these great one's I use. They are a shiny black (or colors) and I put them in and cut them out with hair scissors in the evening. You get like 100 for 3.00. I use to only use the colors so I can see them better when cutting them out. Not sure about hair snaps as I have used the elastics since she was 3 mo. old. Drihan has always had a thick head of hair even with being preemie she had tons of hair but no eyebrows or eyelashes
