I do not know about the rest of the families that have picked up their baby, we just picked up ours this last week and our embassy appointment was on Wed 11/8 and when it was our turn to go to window 10, all we were asked was when was the last time you saw your child?, our agency told us that we needed the original I17-1H. 2 I600 (not signed),I-864, the last 3 years tax returns copies....we did not need to show anything, same for when we got called to window 8, all she did was have my DH sign 2 forms and we had to raise our right hand and swear to take care of the baby....that was it, the whole process could have taken a total of 5 minutes, we were however at the Embassy for 3 1/2 hours....who ever said that the embassy was like DMV on a payday weekend was not far off, lots and lots of people....I hope this helps....
