I can relate---

We thought for sure we'd have our Nico home for Christmas this year.

Like you, I do turst that God's timing is perfect, but boy, the wait is HARD!

I pray you get your Lilly home by Christmas... and just think of the celebrating you will be doing next year! (With TWO two year olds!!! Oh my word-- your hands will be full!!!) But it will be great.

More and more these days all I can think about is Nico. I love my daughter so much, but it just feels like a piece of our family is missing. Being pregnant right now makes me miss Nico all the more... I just want to have him home and get him all settled before our life is in the upheaval of a new baby.

I want his homecoming to be a signficant thing and not lost in excitement/activity of another new baby. I have plans to get our family portraits done as soon as Nico gets home and BEFORE the baby comes.... I just want him to know that there was a chunk of time when he was the new baby and didn't have to share that... know what I mean?

I think that's a positive thing about you getting Lilly before Rory-- even though they will likely be "virtual twins," they will each get a chance to be the "new baby."

Keep us posted on how your progress with 2nd legal/passports goes...
