We readopted three of our children today!
I just came back from court. We readopted our Guatemalan DDs 14 months and our Pacific Islands DD 8 yrs. Everything went real well and the court judge and people were super nice. All the children got to pick out a stuffed animal including siblings. We had not readopt our Pacific Island DD 8 eventhough she was home for 8 years. Her paperwork was such that the name change was already done and I had 20 copies of her Island birth certificate but DH wanted to do her any ways since we were doing Abby and Gabi. Now on to US birth certificate, social security, name change on COC and US passport. It seems like a never ending paper trail but it is moving. Anna
