For our first adoption and the first trip for this adoption, we overnighted in London on the way home, it was nice to break it up, have an extra night of quiet with the little guy, take a shower, but it is a hassle checking back in at Heathrow the next day.
This time we are doing one day flying, mainly because we come home T-day weekend and we don't want to arrive at Philly airport on the sunday after thanksgiving. We have a 2 hour layover at Heathrow. personally I would rather have a layover and break with the flights, especially with a child.
