you will get calls outside your age range and/or other requirements. you'll also get calls that will put you over capacity, let the worker know what your capacity is, sometimes they don't know how many kids you have. they can get permission to change your capacity, it's DYFS's responsibility to do this, not yours.

You'll also get calls for sibling groups and a sibling may be outside of your range. you and dh need to decide how flexible your requirements are.

Your resource worker will be very helpful when it comes to anything you need. I wish they were around when we first became foster parents.

Be sure to ask a ton of questions when the phone rings.

Have fun finishing your homestudy and liscencing. This is by far the easiest part of the whole process.
