My husband and I are also in California. We went directly through DCFS and adopted our son two years ago - he was ours from birth. We are now in the process of adopting a baby girl - she came to us at 7 months and is now 16 months. Her parents were TPRed a week ago. I don't know if we will do it again. It's a long grueling process. If I can help you out in anyway or if you just want to chat, just ask. The waiting is the hardest part!
