Question Our Joey is very, very, ill.....(long)

This is a long complicated story so I will try and make it short.

Has anyone ever adopted a very sick child? Did you get an allowances for time? Meaning did they push things through quicker? How much quicker?

I know I am probably dreaming thinking they would speed up the process....

We started Joey's adoption in March and the adoption ended being halted not by us but because the facilitator and the birth parents of this child were playing games.

Joey ended up in an orphanage and we lost our money.

We have been waiting for his abandonment decree to officially start his adoption over with the nice people at his orphanage.

Well, he has been sick before but now they suspect that he may have lymphoma.

His previous diagnosis was hepatitis then they changed it to just a viral infection, and now this.

We are visiting tomorrow (wed) and just got word last night that he is very sick in the hospital. They fear the worst.

It is in God's hands and I am trusting that he will make his will known to us. This is very hard after losing him before.

Is there any chance that they would allow him to come to the US to get treated? Or that they would speed up our adoption.

Although they care about him the fact of the matter is that they cannot provide the care that they can here...

Anyone at all have dealings with this type of situation?

They are going to do a biopsy to determine his true diagnosis. He was very ill before about 2 months ago...

Thanks for the prayers and input. By the way, the abandonment hearing is TODAY. Pray for that..
