Thanksgiving in MOSCOW!!!!!

Just got off the phone w/ the agency. Court is set though not as soon as any of us feel it should be. They are hoping to monitor our daughter and we are requesting some tests to see how stable she is.

Anyhow, we leave the 22nd and arrive in Moscow on the 23rd. That's right folks... let's travel on the busiest time of the year! Thanksgiving in Moscow. Should be interesting, that's for sure. Urghh. Court is on the 27th of November. We fly home on December 2nd. What a LONG trip. Has to be done though to get them home safe and sound. I've called the travel agency. Halloween party/fundraiser is still on for this Saturday. Apparently, we'll need quite a bit more funds now w/ the length of stay there. And remember, this is going to be w/ a child w/ FAS who is NOT currently medicated. Oh, I remember those days. Keeping them contained in a hotel room will be interesting, that's for sure.

Just had to share the news. NO update on our daughter currently. Still waiting to hear. But being that we have a court date so far out, they must think she may be okay until then. At least, that's our thinking.
