In Poland for international adoption, there is a huge preference given to folks who have Polish heritage, Catholic, and/or are a married couple. You've already said that you are single. Are you either Polish or Catholic? Also, they are quite strict on the not being more than 40 years older than child.

I've only heard of a few single women adopting and they adopted either older (like a teenager) or special needs. These women had either no children before or only one child at home.

So if you were interested in an older boy (9 or older) or older brothers or would consider a boy with special needs, maybe. If you are looking younger and healthy and/or girl, probably not.
