advice needed
OK everyone bear with me. I have a question that is probably so no brainer...but Im new to domestic adoption so need help.
Once we are homestudy approved we are going to try to seek a ** on our own initially. My question is this...
Do we need to have a lawyer first? What does that cost? Do we just call and say we are interested in adoption and want a lawyer on hold??? Or what do we say? Does anyone have any recommendations in NC (where we live)?
Once we locate a ** do we then call the lawyer and go from there?
Or what are the steps? We are willing to talk to ** without representation, however dont want to break any laws in the process. We will NOT pay a penny without a lawyer involved--dont worry.
