Hi,
What your employer did was awful.Lousy. But not illegal. Unless you belong to a bargaining unit ( a union),any employer can fire you at any time. They do not need "cause". You could use a lawyer,but chances are you would not be vindicated. It stinks,IMO. Best, Elizabeth.
