Hmm..interesting thing to think about!!
I agree, no two situations are the same ...however, I also think the fact that you are in the same city might make it more important to be very clear on your expectations. If you are only comfortable with one or two visits per year, someone who lives in the same city may have picked you because they want very frequent visits.
I think you need to really search your thoughts and decide what you would be comfortable with and go from there.
