They aren't as good as they'd like you to think, they never have been, you could easily find yourself left without a service, right in the middle your search. Barnardos Family Connections used to be called Barnardo's Counselling Services Project, it hasn't improved much for changing its name.

Barnardo's in England & Wales main policy as always is, 'keep our backsides covered', the individual lives of past clients and their families comes a poor second or lower priority.
