Today is Lydia's birthday party and tomorrow is her birthday. Unlike many children adopted from China Lydia is a member of that lucky 3% who was left with a note and knows her actual birthday. For that we will be eternally grateful. I wish her mother knew how beatiful and how well she is. I wish her mother knew she liked to dance and laugh. I wish her mother knew she likes strawberries and cheese. I wish her mother knew she likes to cuddle and hear stories and that she can very demanding when it comes to hearing her favourite band--The Wiggles. I wish her mother could be here and see our daughter. I don't know where this is going...I just wish I could share our happy with Lydia's faraway mommy.
