I've been reading a great deal on the boards this week and thinking about all the great feedback I've received. Thank you very much for all the input.

After a great deal of soul-searching, my husband and I agreed we aren't cut out for this. Once our oldest foster child leaves, we decided to take a break to concentrate on our kids. We won't accept anymore children, emergency or respite. It's been too difficult on our kids and we think they need more of a break than we do.

We still want to adopt our infant daughter, if we are blessed to have her case follow to TPR. But, should the Lord have another plan, we won't be pursuing anymore foster/adopt situations through DSS.

I appreciate everyone who took time to post their thoughts to my queries. It really helped a great deal.
