I was adopted at 12 after my birth parents died. I remember the proceedings and actually handed the clerk my birth certificate. I have learned of a half brother I had no idea existed and want my original birth certificate. I can petition the court to unseal my records IF I can find a copy of a petition to use as an example.
I am a legal assistant student and don't want to pay $700 to an attorney when I can petition the court myself. I live in MS any one have any suggestions? I know all parties and other thAN the new brothers no more surprises I hope. Thanks in advance. Linda
