For our adoption petition, we used the format our agency gave us:


We are adopting, once again, to add to our family. We are anxious to welcome another daughter into our home, as well as have a sibling for our daughter, Annabelle. We are very excited to be able to do this through adoption, especially through China. We feel we have alot to offer as parents, and are very excited to be able to share our love, family & home with another child. Both of our daughters, although both adopted, will be placed in our hearts & minds the same way a biological child would be. They will always be loved & cherished, and a true blessing.

Then, I did a paragraph on age range, health issues, and the statement they require- that we attest we will not abandon our daughter.
