Love...hate to tell you this, but that's something I still hear with my kids 4 years later...and I just keep saying the same thing. "No, we are the lucky ones"...
What drives me crazy...
When I get the stumped look and head bowed down reaction as if it's something to be embarrassed about. I think adoption is a lot more common these days than before and we as a society are much more open about it so why is there still a bit of "Scandal" when people hear about it, kwim?
But, luckily...most of the time, people are really positive.
