gibbs my comeback (not sure if it even mattered) was that I would pay a LOT more than $30k for my children that I have now, so $30k doesn't seem too much to me. Just my daugther's 8 day stay in the NICU after she was born was $40k and we didn't even blink an eye...it was necessary and there was nothing that could be done to prevent it. I asked them how much they would pay right now if one of my kids needed it....they're PRICELESS...no amount of money would be too much for them. It was much easier for them to see when I turned it around and made them think about their biological grandchildren and their "worth". GOOD LUCK! They still aren't all peaches and cream about it, but they aren't throwing out negative comments like they were....at least for now. :/
