I do have a little, umm...well..I hate to say advice, but really that's what it is.
I'd hold off buying the bouncy chair and the swing, for a couple reasons. First of all, some babies NEVER like the swing (M was one of them) so I'd wait to find out if she's a "swing" baby. I've never heard of a baby who didn't like their bouncy chair, but depending on her age by the time she arrives, you may have missed the bouncy chair window. I found the bouncy chair most helpful early on....If she's going to be 3 or 4 months old when she comes home, it may be a waste.

Karyn, yes I do live near Calgary! My brother and his wife live right in the city and Dh's parents live just outside (Black Diamond). We're up there alot...I love Calgary.
