I'm just confused as well. Why start out purposefully confusing the child? Don't want to give her a Mother type name? That's fine. Call her Amy. Referring to her as Aunt Amy will only serve to confuse him once he is able to understand that Amy gave birth to him... and then he'll attribute that aunts give birth to babies. (I mean, sure, aunts have kids, but you know what I mean.) I'm just not sure why you'd want to start out using something that will have to be changed in the not so distant future. That's why I've always just gone as Jenna. Then Munchkin can decide later if she wants to put a classifying title on it later.

But it is good that the visit went well. And the pictures are priceless.
