Being the owner of such hair myself, there are several "ethnically" appropriate shampoos and conditioners on the market - despite what the commercials say - not all brands work for every hair type. My daughters hair is thick and wavy and for years I used a 2-in-1 that was organic and followed up daily with a moisturizer that helped with detangling.
