Also in terms of support groups, the biggest one is Open Door Society
www.odsottawa.ca They are usually quiet in the summer, but have many activities planned throughout the year.
If you are waiting to adopt, they have a WONDERFUL parents-in-waiting group, or if you have already adopted they have a Friday morning playgroup and lots of kids parties throughout the year..
