It will cost a total of $6.00 for the adoption if you are a Foster Parent and you had the child in your home as a foster child. The fees are all covered. The $6.00 is for a new birth cert. This is a fact in the state of NJ. We have had 2 adoptions and been fostering for 6 years now.
