Do kids really need more toys? For many of us parents we already have a million laying all around our homes that they soon outgrow or brake or just don't play with. I would much rather my child get things that will last them a lifetime. Maybe pictures, stories, anything and everything relating to their birth families. Maybe a poem or letter written byt their birthmother. Maybe a special necklace/bracelete keepsake. Maybe an autobiography expliaing their birthmom's life, where they were born specail memories they had growing up. Maybe some baby pictures of themselves at that same age?
Toys/clothes are fun and all but something homemade or handwritten would be much more treasured and could stay with the child forever.
