There is a sticky at the top of the Guatemala board that talks about the Hague issues. Guatemala is still currently processing adoptions, but at some point in 2007 U.S. citizens will not be able to adopt from Guatemala until the Hague issue is straightened out.

There is definitely a huge slowdown in PGN right now. We don't really know why, though there are lots of rumors flying! The last number I heard was that there were likely 700 - 1000 cases in PGN. But, I don't know if that still holds true.

Hopefully you will get more responses to your post. I would say that if you are going to start your adoption in the next few months then you're probably fine. However, if you are wanting to wait until the start of the year then you may hit some problems. Just my opinion.
