From a previous thread, it was made clear to me that during my upcoming second trip this fall, the 10 day waiting period in all liklihood will not get waived.
My employer has offered to fly my wife and I back and forth to the US and Russia during this period. As much as we would like to spend this period with the kids in Russia, as we have 4 kids currently at home, returning at my employers expense would benefit us financially. Upon excersizing the 10 day waiting period, do the courts generally expect adoptive parents to stay in Russia with the adopted kids? Will returning to the US hurt the adoption process or is it not relevant to the courts how we spend those 10 days.
