I'm trying to answer everything here.

Our attorney did nothing the first 7 months, but our agency told us he did, we were led to believe that the case was stalled in family court, because of delays with the Hague, and while we questioned being stuck there that long, we really had no way to prove that they were lying(we thought - this is where outside help would have come in handy!)

I really don't want to scare people by my post. Juan Carlos has anger issues and insecurity issues, but he is very much attached to us and is a very loving child... he can just rage like nobody's business, and is always worried we are going to leave him. He bonded to my husband right away and took a little longer to bond to me, he didn't want me to comfort him, and I guess he was less threatened by a male figure. I do think that toddler age is the worst time emotionally for them though. They have so much happening to them and are old enough to know it sucks, but not old enough to put their feelings into words or deal intellectually with the situation.

Case in point to Juan Carlos' hyperactivity... he and hubby just got back from fishing and said Juan Carlos fell of the boat while playing... luckily he was wearing a life vest and was easy to fish out!

Anyway... baby's crying and I can't get the pics to attach, so I'll try later...
