I actually think that's kind of cute. It reminds of when my stepdaughter, 16 at the time, asked me if the new baby would call me Beth or Mom. As my stepkid, it was always natural for her to call me by my name, so I guess the concept of her new sister calling me "Mom" was a bit too much for her to grasp!
