Thinking of you this day as you are flying through the skies to meet your destiny. I have watched you persevere through trial, tribulation, stress, etc. and you have prevailed always smiling and never losing hope, even in the darkest hour.
You have been a wonderful friend and one of the best gifts of my adoption journey. I wish I could see you face the moment you see your girl for the first time and to give you a tremendous hug. I will settle for seeing the smile on your face when you come home and sharing the joy in your pictures and hearing even the smallest detail.
For all of the times you answered the phone throughout our adoption, despite the fact you have caller ID and knew it was me...... exclaiming "Forget it! We are going to China" and my personal favorite "Do you think he died and they are not telling us?" and for hearing me repeat the same stories over and over and truely sharing my joy, I thank you for the friendship and for just being an amazing woman!
Be safe and know that we are all praying this trip is exactly as you have dreamed it would be over the last few years. I am so thrilled for you. Thanks for letting me share a bit of the journey with you.
Mason keeps saying ma la annie nee home? and I keep saying after she meets her baby and he says waaassa? and I say yes baby is in Russia like you.
Hugs to you Mamuschka ! Be safe!
