Mike, just an FYI, my DH has a really big problem with motion sickness and the patch has worked very successfully for him on cruises. We have been on all different length cruises and he has never had a problem on any of them. Three days of wearing the patch and you would never know he had any problems. He also uses the patch for long international flights and long car rides
, like I said its really bad with him. A 5-day cruise is a relatively short cruise and as this particular one is more than 13 months away you would have plenty of time to get the patch from your doctor if you wanted it. Good luck and I feel for you.
