My nephew has ADP - he was diagnosed pretty young. He is going to be a junior in HS. He is normal classes, but school doesn't come easy.
A lot of times it is a matter of finding a way that they information travels through the brain and not getting stuck. So my sister works on finding alternative ways to share information, if the first way doesn't sink in.
I hope that having a diagnosis will help in your case too.
