it DOES take days to recover - that's the crazy part! your child rebounds quickly and goes back into full throttle and you have mountains of laundry to deal with, not to mention a trashed house that you haven't been able to maintain because you've been with them 24/7.
oh well. just know you are in good company and it's all part of motherhood!
