Oh Nancy I can totally relate! Bringing back memories of a few months back. I second what votemom said. Definitely stay in survival mode. That's all you can do. Mess is NOT going to matter b/c no one is coming in that house anyways when someone is sick. The youngest I've had that got the concept of the bucket was 3yo Alex. Never dealt w/ a 2 yo so I don't really know what to say. She definitely won't get the toilet idea. I say definitely put her in one place w/ towels, etc. Bucket close by. Her favorite show to get her mind off of it. Do you have any phenergan handy? That always stops my kids from vomitting further. It's for nausea. It is prescription but since our doc knows us and knows that if one gets sick there may be more, he wrote us a spare script. The hard part w/ a couple of kids like you and I have is trying to keep the others away while you tend to the one that is sick.

You will make it through this one as well. So sorry this is how your day is going. I've btdt and it is NO fun. Takes days to recover. I will keep you in my thoughts for awhile. Hugs from cyberspace. I do hope the little one is better soon. Can your husband come home early and possilby take over for a little while? Anything you can do to try to relieve the load will help. I have found many friends are understanding and will sometimes volunteer to take the kids for a day.

Good luck and good health to you and your family.
