I don't think we have it any worse than anyone else trying to adopt. I know couples adopting from China who have been waiting for over a year for a referral. I know a couple who took three years for a successful domestic adoption. There are parents getting stuck in Khazakstan for two months or longer, the Ukraine stopped all referrals for a long time (if they even started up again) and parents who want to adopt from Russia are giving up and thinking of Guatemala. It's not an easy process. It's frustrating and discouraging. But if you're here, you must think a child is worth whatever hardship you go through to bring him home.
Maybe you just need a break from the boards. There are lots of negative rumors constantly being thrown around which I think bring us all down.
