I don't know the laws in Texas. I'm from Missouri. But we had to hire a lawyer to draw up the papers and go to court with us and legal stuff like that. The hardest part is getting the bparent to sign away their rights. After that, you just go to court and the judge signs the papers. It's pretty easy and not that expensive at all.
