We are looking into learning Mandarin as well, but the cost for the classes or the Rosetta stone is kind of prohibitive.
We took a semester of Japanese and from that experiece, we know that it will not be easy. We are also contemplating getting the Mei-Mei DVD's and trying to learn from those with our little one.
After all, it is said that children can learn multiple languages easier than adults. Maybe she will be able to teach us someday!!!
