medi-cal transfering to another state?
maybe someone on here can help me with this one...
I'm moving to the east coast with my son... I was told that his Medi-Cal would no longer work once we leave California. BUT then I was told that the next state we go to would "pick up" and cover his insurance with their program...
Anyone know anything about this?
I'm still going to pay for him to have my insurance but I want the state coverage because we'll have a 2 month lapse and I don't want to pay for cobra for him (or me).... I also want to have the state as aback up since they occassionally cover things my insurance doesn't cover 100%
