The post placement helps the agency worker write the report that has to go to the courts with the petition to finalize. Our social worker wanted to know all about how we were adjusting, if there were problems, development of the baby, making sure doctor's visits were occurring, etc. Lasted about an hour including all the oohs and ahhs and showing the baby off to other workers at the agency. Our post palcement was done at the agency not our home because it was in a different town. I know post-placement for international gets a little more involved. May be a more formalized process and I know most countries require at least 2 post placement visits, some more.
